This Privacy Policy explains how the Jakalooki — Solo-Player app ("the App") handles information. The App is published by Upper Loft Enterprises, LLC ("Upper Loft," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company.
The short version: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. It is a free, offline, single-player card game. Everything it stores stays on your device.
1. Scope — This App Only
This policy applies only to the Jakalooki — Solo-Player app for iPhone and iPad. It does not apply to:
- The Jakalooki — Multiplayer app or the Jakalooki Multiplayer web service (jakalooki.upperloftenterprises.com), which are separate, account-based products that do collect information and are governed by the separate Jakalooki Multiplayer Privacy Policy.
- The Upper Loft Enterprises marketing website and our other brands, governed by our general Privacy Policy.
If you tap the in-app link to upgrade to multiplayer, you leave the Solo-Player App and use a different product with its own privacy policy; the Solo-Player App itself still collects nothing.
2. Information We Collect — None
The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you. Specifically:
- No account or login. You do not register, sign in, or provide a name, email, phone number, or date of birth to play.
- No analytics or tracking. The App contains no analytics tools, no advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs).
- No network transmission of personal data. Gameplay runs entirely on your device and offline; the App does not send your information to us or to anyone else.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
The App saves your player profile, preferences, and game scores locally on your device so the game works and remembers your progress. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you delete the App. You can reset or clear it at any time from within the App or by deleting the App.
4. No Sharing or Sale of Information
Because the App collects no personal information, we have nothing to share, sell, rent, or disclose. We do not sell or "share" personal information within the meaning of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, the App does not knowingly collect information from children, and the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) data-collection obligations are not implicated. (Age suitability of game content is addressed by the App Store age rating; this policy concerns data practices.)
6. Security
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal information, there is no personal data in transit or on our servers to be exposed. Information the App stores locally is protected by your device's own operating-system protections.
7. Your Choices
You control the on-device data by managing it in the App or by deleting the App. No request to us is necessary because we hold no information about you.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the App's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds a feature that collects information — we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that feature collects any information.
